The Bath Half Marathon took place on Sunday 16th March. The weather was good, over 11,000 runners crossed the finish line and the crowds of encouraging spectators around the course were very large and included a number of bands creating a great atmosphere.

There was a thrilling race among the elite runners as the event was the qualification for the half marathon at the upcoming World Athletics Road Running Championships.
Late withdrawals as a result of injuries reduced our runners to eight who all made it to the finish including Julie Martin who was running with the additional challenge of a plaster cast on her arm! Our team of runners generated sponsorship resulting in BCUSG making a fantastic profit on the event of £4,281.

We had a BCUSG marquee to provide a base for our runners which was manned by a number of our Trustees.
