The charity’s origins date back to 1979, when Shepton Mallet farmer Chris Norman learned that the cancer unit at the Royal United Hospital was at risk of being closed and relocated to Bristol.

The Bath Cancer Unit Support Group is a small, local charity run entirely by dedicated volunteers. We are committed to supporting the cancer services at the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
Well supported by the local community which enabled fundraising for the Adult and Children’s Oncology units at Bath Royal United Hospital.
