The Bath Cancer Unit Support Group Launches New Social Media Channels to Strengthen Community Connections

The Bath Cancer Unit Support Group (BCUSG), a volunteer-led charity dedicated to supporting cancer patients and enhancing cancer treatment in Bath and the surrounding region, is proud to announce the launch of its official social media channels.

The new channels will provide regular updates on fundraising initiatives, share stories of community impact, highlight the latest equipment and projects funded by BCUSG, and connect with supporters in more accessible ways.

Founded in 1979, BCUSG is run by a dedicated group of trustees and volunteers. Over the years, the charity has raised millions of pounds to fund cutting-edge equipment and facilities for the RUH Cancer Unit in Bath, helping to improve diagnosis, treatment, and care for thousands of patients.

By joining BCUSG on social media, supporters will be able to:

From our chairman.

Thank you for visiting The Bath Cancer Unit Support Group website. The Charity is run entirely by volunteers, meaning there are no paid staff.

 

Approximately 95% of all monies raised goes straight into equipment and resources of the Cancer Departments at the Royal United Hospital, Bath.

 

The other 5% is spent on vital administration costs. During the past 33 years, our enthusiastic volunteers have raised over £6 million.
