Trowbridge, UK — The Bath Cancer Unit Support Group (BCUSG) is proud to continue its regular presence at The Shires Shopping Centre in Trowbridge, where monthly table sales and donation collections raise vital funds to support cancer care in the region.
BCUSG is a local charity dedicated to improving treatment, care, and facilities for cancer patients at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. Through the ongoing generosity of shoppers and the kind support of The Shires Shopping Centre, the group has raised thousand’s in recent years. These funds have helped provide life-saving medical equipment, improved patient environments, and supported frontline services for those affected by cancer.
“The support we receive from the Shires Shopping Centre and its visitors means the world to us,” said a spokesperson for BCUSG. “Every penny raised helps us continue our mission of enhancing cancer care in our community.”
The group sets up monthly inside the shopping centre, offering a friendly space for supporters to donate, learn more about the charity’s work, and browse items for sale — all in support of a worthy cause.
BCUSG would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to The Shires Shopping Centre for their ongoing support and generosity in hosting these events.

Thank you for visiting The Bath Cancer Unit Support Group website. The Charity is run entirely by volunteers, meaning there are no paid staff.
Approximately 95% of all monies raised goes straight into equipment and resources of the Cancer Departments at the Royal United Hospital, Bath.
The other 5% is spent on vital administration costs. During the past 33 years, our enthusiastic volunteers have raised over £6 million.
