The Spicer girls

Spicer girls’ & their wonderful friends fundraising

After a year off fundraising both Esme and Olivia have decided that 2025 is their year for fundraising! They want to raise money for the Royal United Hospital cancer unit in Bath.

Spicer girls’ & their wonderful friends fundraising

This is the hospital that along with Bristol children’s hospital saved Esme’s life. The staff there are amazing and have and continue to support not only Esme and us, but also Olivia.

The charity that they have chosen is the Bath Cancer Unit Support Group. The Bath Cancer Unit Support Group is a small local charity, run entirely by volunteers, which supports the work of cancer facilities at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. They do this by raising money to purchase equipment facilities and services that the NHS are unable to fund. The aim is to improve outcomes and the well-being of local cancer patients.

Olivia’s fundraising challenge this year is to cycle the distance that Esme has to do regularly from Frome to the RUH, approximately 16miles.  She will be doing this in June with four of her wonderful friends; Tabby, Eva and Leah and their parents.  Esme will be doing a sponsored scoot around her local park with her friends to the equivalent distance that Olivia is doing.  Esme and her friends will be adding up the distance that they all do to get to 16miles.

We would appreciate any support whether that is cheering them on or donating or anything else in between that you can give all these wonderful children who are doing fantastic things to raise money for the most amazing cancer unit.
