On a balmy evening in September a traditional ceilidh was held in the Corsley show field. Over 125 people attended and enjoyed the live music supplied by the White Horse Band.

The caller was great fun (and very patient) as he guided us through the dance steps. The night was filled with lots of laughter and it was wonderful seeing all the generations dancing together, with strangers becoming friends.

The event was organised by Lisa Tolson (Radiotherapy Service Manager, RUH) and Christine De Groot, but wouldn’t have been possible without the huge support of our friends and family who manned the bar, built the stage and most importantly came and supported our fundraising.

We’re delighted that we have been able to donate £2738.03 to BCUSG.
