The donors’ evening was held in the outpatients’ waiting area in the new Dyson Cancer Centre at the RUH. BCUSG Chairman Mike Taylor introduced the founder of Bath Cancer Unit Appeal, farmer Chris Norman from Shepton Mallet.
Dr Polly Bates of Paediatric Oncology, Catherine Gilleece Matron of the Cancer Centre, Alison Ryan Chair of Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust and Dr Emma de Winton Consultant Clinical Oncologist each briefly explained the ways in which BCUSG continues to assist with patient care and outcomes at the RUH.
