MEMBERS of the Bath Cancer Unit support Group have thanked volunteers who have helped to raise £5 million over the past 33 years.
More than 70 volunteers attended the special evening held at the Farmhouse Inn at Southwick as a thank you for their support
Over the past 33 years, they have helped to raise more than £5 million to purchase vital life-saving equipment for the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
Tino Polledri, who stepped down after 33 years with the charity, received a gift from BCSUG chairman Michael Taylor and Vice chair Sue Oliver at Tuesday’s event.
