  • Make a donation in memory of someone or in celebration of a special occasion.

If you make your payment online with our website it will show as: BCUSG.ORG or BCUSG.ORG Stripe

If you make your donation with PayPal it will show BCUSG

For direct debit payments it will show as: Stripe BCUSG.ORG

Donating by text is a quick and easy way to support us. Text donations start from as little as £1. Simply follow the steps to get your donation set up.

It’s that easy and remember you can send as much or little as you like and we will receive 100% of your donation.

We will always thank and acknowledge you when you donate whenever we are aware this has happened. We may also contact you by post or phone to acknowledge your donation. 

If you have made a donation online, you will receive an email confirmation almost immediately. If you have sent us a gift through the post or by paying directly from your bank, we will contact you by post or phone unless you have asked us not to.

If you have donated to us via a third party platform, such as JustGiving, the thank you and acknowledgement will come directly from that service provider.

There may be other occasions where you have donated to The Bath Cancer Unit Support Group, directly or indirectly, and we are not aware this may have happened. 

We are grateful for every donation that we receive, and we will always make every effort to thank and acknowledge everyone who has donated to us.

We're really grateful for regular donations. A regular donation to The Bath Cancer Unit Support Group will mean all monies raised goes straight into equipment and resources of the Dyson Cancer Centre at the Royal United Hospital, Bath.

You can set up a monthly or annual Direct Debit online. Just simply select a monthly 'donation' when making a donation.

You will then be prompted to select making the donation by credit or debit card or direct debit. Select direct debit and fill in your bank details. This will include your account number, sort code.

Payments will show as ‘Stripe’ on your bank statement. After you complete the setup, an email confirmation will be sent to your email address within 3 business days.

Yes, setting up a direct debit online is also completely safe. Any personal information you enter onto our online Direct Debit pages (including, name, address and bank account details) is encrypted before being sent to our payment partner and is always recorded on secure servers operated by our regular giving partners FundraiseUp and Stripe.

FundraiseUp and Stripe will store your information in a secure environment using industry standard practices. You are then covered by the Direct Debit guarantee. We will email you to confirm the details of donation.

Payments will show as ‘Stripe’ on your bank statement. After you complete the setup, an email confirmation will be sent to your email address within 3 business days.

Yes, our website is very secure. If your bank card is enrolled in the 3D Secure scheme (also known as Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode) you will be asked to enter the password you’ve set up with your bank.

If it is the first time you’ve used the scheme you will be asked to create a password. These details are only stored by your bank.
